Olga Bogachevska

About me

Olha Bohachevska is a Ukrainian-born actress whose international career spans stage, screen, and diverse creative projects. Now based in Berlin after the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. Olha is exploring themes of identity, cultural memory, and resilience. Her storytelling is deeply informed by personal experiences and a desire to connect through universal human narratives.

With a master’s degree in journalism from the Kyiv Mohyla Academy and a diploma from the Academy of Theater Practices "Gardzienice" in Poland, Olha’s multidisciplinary background shapes her nuanced approach to acting. Her experience includes roles in short films, TV series, and commercials, showcasing her adaptability across formats and genres.

On stage, Olha has collaborated with Theater Studio 11 in Kyiv since 2017, performing in significant productions such as "Babyn Yar – a Requiem", created in partnership with dokumentartheater berlin. In 2022, she co-created and performed in "Die Hüterin", a play celebrating Ukrainian history and cultural heritage.

Her screen work is equally varied, with roles in numerous short films where she conveys depth and authenticity in concise storytelling. Her Ukrainian-Portuguese short film "Viseu, meu amor" explores saudade, capturing themes of cultural displacement and belonging. Her work in TV serials and commercials further demonstrates her range and professionalism.

Before relocating to Berlin, Olha had already begun exploring themes of identity, cultural memory, and resilience—topics that continue to inspire her work. Her storytelling is deeply informed by personal experiences and a desire to connect through universal human narratives.

In 2023, Olha played the lead role in "The Raging Queen", a dramatic short film directed by Matteo Gevi, cementing her reputation as a compelling performer.

Whether on stage or screen, Olha Bohachevska continues to create impactful work that resonates with audiences worldwide.
